This gorgeous oversize wool, cotton, and goat hair Turkish kilim from central Anatolia is two separate pieces sewn together by villagers as their looms were normally 6’ or less and they would transport them as they migrated to cooler climates in the summertime.
One side is brown and white tweed woven with sky blue cotton on the side border. The other side is dark brown and white tweed.
Original patches, if any, are kept.
It has been professionally cleaned and restored. We have done our best to capture fade and age in photos.
