This is an amazing vintage 1950’s distressed Persian carpet. It has been sheared and distressed then overdyed and finally painstakingly hand painted with the same light blue to achieve a one-of-a-kind piece.
Very coastal
This was done by a German artist who has such great talent and style.
The colors are peachy pink with a light powdery sky blue overdye that is very tastefully executed. The outlines, when visible, are in raspberry.
Condition: even wear
Professionally cleaned, blocked and restored.
