This flatweave kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp.
The colors in this piece are creamy off white with some variations in the color. It has many stripes in rust, brown, green and purples. These were done originally to distinguish between each other’s grain sacks. Then they turned these into one large rug. There are several hand-sewn patches. It’s a very interesting piece.

It has been professionally washed, blocked, starched and restored.
Condition: immaculately clean; ends and sides bound securely.
