These vintage kilims are the VERY rugs that inspired Swedish rug designers of the mid-century modern movement and who were strong followers of Bauhaus design...and, as a result, were and still are sought after by top tier decorators all over the world.This is a vintage Anatolian kilim rug from the western Ephesus region of Turkey. it is a Bohemian eclectic colorful embroidery Goat hair and Wool kilim rug and has been overdyed in pink with subtle nuances of pink in varying degrees as well as light purple and some brown but very little.
