This gorgeous kilim from the Black Sea region of Turkey is made with hemp, cotton and goat hair.
It is rich gray and black tweed along with various colors like mustard, aqua blue in varying shades and intensities. It’s all tweeded and is fabulous!
One border is black fabric covered.
Actual size is 5’1” X 8’6”
It has been professionally washed and restored. This is a vintage two-piece kilim woven by nomadic tribes that had narrow looms making it easier to travel to warmer climates during winters.
