This gorgeous kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp in creamy white in with a few patches in apricot and deep indigo and several repairs done in the same hemp threads.
Pure hemp is cool and soft to the touch and Circa 1970’s
Actual size is 5’3” x 8’9”
It has been professionally washed, blocked, starched and restored.

*Part of the beauty of these pieces is in their authenticity. They are not perfect in their shape or edges. They often have patches done by the weavers which we leave as it adds to the story of the rug.
