Vintage Anatolian kilim rug fragment from western Turkey near the Ephesus region
This is a Kilim pillow cover with eclectic colorful stripes made of hemp and wool and is a remnant of a vintage Turkish Kilim rug.
This one in particular has little “bows” or ties woven into the piece which were significant wishes or dreams they held dear to their hearts for their daughters futures. This is indicative of the village as a whole and how they wove their style of kilims.
It has been backed in neutral cotton with a hidden zipper.
Actual size 14" X 19"
It has been professionally washed and restored
