This flatweave kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp in creamy white with handmade patches and some repairs in a few areas done with hemp. It is edged on part of the sides in dark brown, nearly black goat hair. There are a few colored Cicim symbols. There are color variations in the hemp.
Pure hemp is cool and soft to the touch and works well in warmer climates. Circa 1970’s
