This Vintage runner rug is from the Oushak region of Turkey. It is handmade using a cotton foundation and wool weave. The colors are soft cashmere beige, olive and pink throughout most of the runner with abrash of a deep ink blue in the designs on one end. This happens during the dying of more wool to finish the rug where the dye bath was more concentrated in this color so it didn’t fade over the ages. There are some bits of gray the designs ... It is very pretty has a gorgeous sheen and shows it’s vintage wear.. this may not appeal to everyone:)

It has been professionally washed, blocked and restored.
